“A healthy Mind in a healthy Body” with Erasmus+. The challenge is to modify and make the relation to our own personality evolve in an individual and collective approach. The actors of all ages, in more or less disabling conditions will meet and share their experiences . The outputs of these experiences (reports, articles on the blog, videos) will be collected and shared during the meeting projects, courses and congress and disseminated out. We want to support youth activeness in the fields of healthy lifestyle. Students are active in the planning, development and evaluation of the project.

Mobility SMFI19 4 health workshops in Finland

  This morning, the pupils had to work in groups in 4 different workshops. Each group counted about 10 pupils and 2 teachers from each participating country. Each workshop lasted about 20 minutes and the students supported their intervention with the use of an interactive screen. For the first workshop, « eating habits », about 10 pupils were gathered in a classroom where 4 University students called Jinna, Elina, Mari and Meiji lead their intervention about eating habits. It started with a game during which the students had to classify words about eating habits into 2 groups : the healthy ones and the unhealthy ones. Then, the 4 University students presented every eating moment of the day : breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner and evening snack and advice was given to the pupils about how to eat healthy food in a healthy way. The workshop went on with a game on mobile phones called Kahoot ! The pupils were asked to connect on kahoot.it. On this site, they were asked 10 questions for which they had to choose the right answer among 4 choices and could then accumulate points. The « Young people and sports » workshop was about young people and sports. About 10 pupils were gathered in a classroom where 2 teachers first asked them questions about their sports habits. The pupils were then shown 3 sports exercises they had to reproduce in pairs. Eventually, the pupils were given information about how beneficial sports is to our health. For the “ sleeping and relaxing ”workshop, about 10 pupils were gathered in a classroom where a school nurse showed them how important relaxing and getting good sleeping habits were to our body and general health. The nurse intervenes in 4 different schools for health care checks. She asked the pupils to write down the different activities they could do as a way to relax on a big  post. This was the occasion for the different participants to exchange about their relaxing habits. Again, some advice was given to the pupils about how to relax more before sleeping. At the end of the workshop, the participants experienced a meditation activity : they had to close their eyes and listen to a relaxing music. Finally, the « Alcohol and drugs » workshop gathered about 10 pupils n a classroom where they were warned about the different existing drugs including cigarettes, cannabis, amphetamines, ecstasy pills etc…. The pupils were given information about drugs in general and the risks connected to the use of drugs on life and health. They were invited to identify pieces of different drugs to be able to recognize them and to refuse them. The pupils were also told about the respective side effects of these drugs.
