A group of students from high School Martí Dot, in Barcelona, have been working on a multidisciplinary project where water has been the common element. The project was structured into three main workshops: abilities and personal autonomy, cooking and art therapy. In the three workshops they have carried out activities related to water: outings to the nearby parks to get to know the water sources, shopping in the neighbourhood to buy all the material for the workshops, outing to the Water Museum in Cornellà de Llobregat, production of dishes where water was the main element, dramatization of tales where the river was a metaphor of life and, finally, the production of a model where we can observe the water cycle in our city.
Our students have learnt, thanks to this project, the relationship between water, its uses, treatment, transport and distribution.
