SMRO19 CREATION- Autumn Festival Decorations

The main idea of the workshop was to create autumnal decoration. Paper flowers have existed ever since the invention of paper in China around 100 B.C. The art travelled from China via the Silk Road.

For Paper Flowers we need the Materials: one piece of paper circle diameter 15cm is nice – but any will do paper scraps, scissors, glue gun, strings. Students have to take the paper and put the cd on. They realize circle to create the flower as roses.  The result has to be a spiral. They used scissors to cut the paper and they put the paper around pen to give a shape. A point of glue fixed the final flower at the base. A stick of wood was used to have a stem.

Paper flowers are a delightful way to create their own blooms without investing the time and effort needed to take care of an actual plant. Students discovered there are a variety of designs that they can choose from.
