First students of a same country are divided into groups and they draw a map of their city on a big paper.
Next, they present to other students their drawing, which contains many specific places and buildings. Then, French students and their partners are gathered. They watch a slideshow with pictures of ideal cities. They give keywords to show why these cities can be considered as ideal places. To finish, in pairs again, they write three words in English in a post-it to describe their ideal city.

Before the activity started we didn't know what to expect about it. It was really nice to imagine what the perfect city is for us. During the activity, we learnt the different points of view of our penpals and it was great. We could see that for a lot of people the perfect city is made of love and dream. It was very interesting to do this activity by pair. Now that we have done this activity we will change the way we see the city. The most important things are happiness and love ! It's also very important to have an ecological city.

At first, I was a taken off guard by this activity’s theme. The goal seemed very much unknown and I found it confusing. Turns out it wasn’t bad at all; I was still startled by the idea but we did manage to make something out of our ideas even if we struggled at the beginning. I truly hope the activity was enjoyed be everyone and I even found myself completely invested in it after 15 minutes. I guess this hour helped me polish the few managing and teamwork skills I had earlier in the morning.
